Guess what I happened to come across today...???

My Christmas presents!!!!! I swear I wasn't looking for them, I was actually looking for my phone, and in the process of doing that I happened to come across an instant camera and an m&m dispenser. I'm not sure if they are actually my presents or if they are just for other people; although I have been asking for an instant camera for a few months now... either way I am super excited and I can't wait for Christmas!!!

Okay so that's it guys. So as you can tell, at the start, I was kind of the outsider who chose all the awkward weird options, but it's life guys. BE ORIGINAL! BE YOURSELF! You honestly don't know how much effort I put into this post. It took about 3 weeks to get all the girls together and for them to figure out their answers and oh my gosh... This stuff is hard work. "THE KING IS DEAD!!!" She says through long painful sobs.
She's hyperventilating. She doesn't know if she can make it through the rest of the movie. She just fell onto Ebony. Iona just said I'm bad at spelling.YAY

Currently, the our class is watching the Lion King. I think Iona is enjoying it a little too much......... Ilira and I are slowly watching her become obsessed. Haha. And now Eb is poking Iona. Now they're reading what I'm writing. Now Iona is Choking. Now they are reading again. Now Eb is bored. Iona is back to being obsessed "MUFASSA MUFASSA!!!" Now we are all laughing. We're having so much fun these last few weeks of school! I'm really gonna miss these crazy people.

I am graduating soon!!!!!

So I haven't made any recent posts lately and well this is seriously stressing me out. Graduation, like anyone else is a hard time to have to let go of all your friends and all the memories you have made. Now, I have made sooooooooo many friends at my school and I literally start balling my eyes out when I think about leaving everyone behind. As you know, my friend Maddie and I are going to different school and I HATE IT!!!!! This year by far is the year I have had the most drama and well, grade 6 is a stressful time. One thing I defiantly am not looking forward to is ALL THE EXTRA HOMEWORK!!! Erugh, now some things that have happened this year, oh gosh, where to start....

~ I have moved from friendship group to friendship group as I started off with my friends from last year, then just played with 2 or 3 people, then moved onto a whole group of my friends and now it's usually just Maddie, Emma myself and a few of the boys.

~ One word: relationships; if you ask me, our school is obsessed with having a relationships going. And when they do start up, the whole school finds out just like that

Advice is needed

Hey guys, so right now my friend is in a rough spot in life and neither I or her other friends could offer any useful advice. So, without naming names or mentioning the issue straight off, pretty much they need to tell someone something that will probably hurt them. It's an honesty thing. They did something without their friend's approval and now they need to appoligise, but they are scared that their friend might hate them (forever(she made me put that in there)).

So if any of  you guys have any advice or experience in this topic, please comment below of some tips on how to make this honesty issue a little less of a problem so the rest of us can stop hearing her complain about it all the time.

Meet my Friends

Hey everyone, this is probably my most heart to heart post yet since it is pretty much my everyday life. I spend pretty much all of school with these people, and we sometimes catch up on the weekends. Of course, one of my short, recent posts about the 4 girls has given me the idea to write them each a little paragraph. Some of these people may be similar in a few ways, but when we are all together, you can really tell who's who. Some people interact with other people more than some of my other friends. It will make more sense once I start - so let's begin.

                                                                              EMILY!

Emily is the quiet type who loves nothing more than to learn and strive for the future. Unlike the average 12 year old, she is very responsible, organised and is one of the few trustworthy people I know. She currently has (I think) 10 cats, 1 dog and a lizard. She has a big family of 5 siblings and if you include the pets, she would probably get 'The largest amount of people living in one house' record. She has been my friend all throughout kindergarten, primary school and high school and hopefully we will be friends forever and always.

Iona can be one of two things: she can be the obvious and smart one (which is pretty much how she acts during class) and she can also be the loud, social and creative one. She loves to do art and participate in many school activities. She only has one brother, but to her that's more than enough. I have been with Iona since kindergarten and primary school (just like Emily), but sadly, she will be going to a different high school.

I speak for everyone when I say that Ilira is the goody-goody out of all of us. She is always on task and has NEVER gotten in trouble. She is similar to Emily in how she wants to do well in life and succeed in everything, but the only difference is - Ilira isn't known for having a large amount of confidence. She is always silent, never speaks on the floor and always gets top marks (and I mean ALWAYS). I think our teachers wonder how such a calm girl like Ilira ended up with us.... Ilira has been my neighbour since always and just like Emily, we have gone through our whole lives together and will continue on throughout high school too.

                                                                           MADDIE!

Maddie, being the talkative one, has been extremely helpful in my lives recent events. She can build confidence in almost anyone. Unlike my other friends, Maddie and I have only known each other for 2 years. We both have blogs and enjoy writing whenever possible. Compared to Emily, she is definitely not a cat lady. since she only has one cat. She loves looking at fashion websites with Iona and I could definitely see her working in the clothing industry in the future.

                                                                            ETHAN!

Ethan.... he is a mixed bag really. He can be intelligent (in a weird way) if he wants too, but most of the time he is pretty much (just like a cliché high school group) classified as the funny one who just hangs around with a bunch of girls. He can play dumb sometimes, and recently he turned into slender man. Actually, it was last week when he went around scaring little children pretending to be some psycho stalker.

I have recently done a poll with my friends and most of them said that Ari was their favourite "Guy-friend". He is so funny (probably more than Ethan. SHHHHH!) and he has a awesome watch (ITS WITCHCRAFT!! IT CAN TURN PURPLE! OMIGOSH). We have known each other since grade 3, but only actually became friends this year. He plays on his computer most of the time swimming with fish and blowing up ships that got hit by aliens. (don't ask)

Well there there you have it guys. That's my friends. You have the right to be scared of some of them (//cough// Ethan //cough//), and I can't wait to see you guys in my next post. BYEEEEE!!!!!

Book Review - LOL - Kody Keplinger

Helloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I am here today with a short book review (again). This book is called LOL or Lying out loud written by Kody Keplinger. It is a companion to his previous book, The DUFF which I am still yet to read. It co-stars Wesley and Bianca from The DUFF, but they don't have a big role. Their parts only start to get more important in the final few chapters when the main character, Sonny has a heart to heart chat with Wesley while walking around a mountain.

Pretty much, this rich stuck-up boy called Ryder likes Sonny's best friend, Amy (Wesley's sister), but Amy doesn't like him back. In fact, she can't stand him. Sonny is the one who actually likes Ryder but Ryder can't stand Sonny. It's pretty much a wonky love triangle.

The only reason that Ryder likes Amy is because he has IM messaged her, when actually Sonny was on Amy's account so she was actually talking to him, but didn't realise that she wasn't on her account until the end of Ryder and Sonny's conversation when Ryder said "Goodnight, Amy".

THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR YOUNG KIDS!!!!! There are multiple intimate scenes and swear words. The recommended age for this book would be around 14-15+. I rate it a 5/5. I <3 it!!!!!

Fangirl - Rainbow Rowell

Hi guys, I am back today with another book review! This time it will be on the book 'Fangirl' that i finished over the holidays. It was so good with an AMAZING plot line. The only thing that bothered me was that at the end of every chapter, it would have a snipet from the 'Simon Snow' series by "Gemma T. Leslie" who was a fictional author who the main character (Cather or Cath) was obsessed with. It was annoying because the plot line in the actual story was great and I really wanted to continue with reading it, but then a part of the other story comes up and it disrupts the rest of it.

Over all, I give it a 4.5/5 just because of the Simon Snow thing. I recommend this book to anyone over the age of 12-13.

New book - Fangirl ~ Rainbow Rowell

Hey everyone!!
Today I have just started a new book called Fangirl. 3 chapters in and it's really good. It's about identical twins called Wren and Cath and they are both starting college. Wren is the out-going, party type one, while Cath prefers to write novels alone in her room she shares with another girl who simply couldn't give a damn about her. Cath meets a guy called Levi who always hangs around the outside of her room, but so far she tends to leave him out there since she feels he looks too "rapey". A word she came up with. I'll let you all know when I finish so I can do a full book review. Life is boring right now. ~ Cooper

Book/Movie Review - The Hunger Games - Suzanne Colins

Good day my fellow pixies!

Today will be a cross between a book review and a movie review. Based on the title, I'm sure you already know that this will be on The Hunger Games aka the best book I have ever read! This series is a trilogy, which will be soon published also, although the Mockingjay (the third book) movie review will not be out until November when the second part to the movie comes out (THE SUSPENSE!!). There are 3 books to the series and (of course) I have read all 3 and am planning to re-read each of them.

It starts off with Katniss Everdeen (portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence), going out of her district boundaries into the woods to meet up with her best friend, Gale Hawthorne (portrayed by Liam Hemsworth). The 2 of them watch from behind a bush as a blimp flies over them.
I won't go over it in too much detail, but basically, Primrose (Willow Shields) cries because she doesn't want to go into the hunger games, they go to the assembly where they announce who will go into the arena and Prim gets called out. Being the brave, older sister, Katniss volunteers to take her place. Then Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) gets called from the boys category.

They go to The Capital, train for the games, then a week later are put into the arena and forced to kill one another, until only one survives.

Along the way, the way Katniss and Peeta come across Effie Trinket, Haymich Albernathy, President Snow, Caesar Flickerman, Rue, Cato, Clove, Cinna, Foxface and others.

Book rating: 10/10
Movie Rating: 9/10

Book Review - 10 Best Ghost Stories Ever ~ Michael Cox

Helloooooooooo!

Today I will be doing another book review. It will be on (as per seen as the title): 10 Best Ghost Stories Ever by the author, Michael Cox. He has many books in the Horrible History TV show style, of making history incredibly funny and entertaining, while keeping the audience captivating by not listing fact after fact after fact. I wouldn't classify the stories in this book as "scary", more so weird and creepy. Basically, it wouldn't give you nightmares, but it also won't be like walking in a daisy field with your unicorn called Jeremy who is secretly working for a secret spy agency with your uncle Stuart who isn't really your uncle, but pretends to be for the sake of a false identity....

Moving on...
There are 10 stories in the book (obviously) and each one is followed by a list of 10 things. An example might be: "10 things to protect yourself from a ghost" or "10 types of ghosts". So it isn't all just story after story. In the introduction to the book, Michael mentions that he has put a modern twist on the stories. An example would be turning the word 'thy' into 'your'. Nothing too distinctive. Of course there wouldn't be the victim ringing the police on the latest iPhone 6 and having them arrive in 3 minutes since most of the stories are set in the 1800 and 1900's.

I give the overall book a 7/10, due to the fact that some of the fact pages did send me to sleep a bit and it took a few months for me to muster the strength to continue reading it, since the introduction to the book is quiet slow.

Book Review: Never, Always, Sometimes - Adi Alsaid

Hallo everyone! In this post today, I will be joined by my friend Maddie from the blog 'Hello Style'. I will put the link at the end of this post. Anyway, as you all know from the title of this post, we will be doing a book review on Never, Always, Sometimes by Adi Alsaid. She also has another called Let's Get Lost which I am still yet to read.

So the book starts off 6 years earlier than the rest of the novel. It mentions that Dave has had a crush on his best friend, Julia for as long as he has known her. They talk about starting high school and all the clichés that they will come across so they decide to make a list of all the things to never do in high school to avoid becoming a cliché themselves. They call it "The Nevers - Dave and Julia's guide to a original high school experience". The title Never, Always, Sometimes has been shortened from 'Never date your best friend, Always be original, Sometimes rules were meant to be broken. As they go through high school they eventually decide to go against every rule and try to break them all before graduation. Along the way, you meet Gretchen, Mr Mallory, Dave and Julia's families and others.

Overall I give the book a 9/10 rating; the ending frustrated me a little because I shipped 'Juliave' so bad!!!

Can You Relate?

Hola amigos!

Today I thought I would do something a little different to the usual stuff. I'm sure most of you would have seen can you relate posts of social media, so nothing original there. So, I'm going to list a whole bunch of random things that I like to do and you can comment of which ones you can relate to. Let's begin:

1. You put a music playlist of shuffle, then skip most of the songs
2. You have to make sure that one string of your hoodie is the exact length of the other one
3. You pretend to be asleep when your parents come in your room in the morning to wake you up
4. You sit on your towel for a long time after your shower because you can't be bothered to get dressed
5. You like to push the little button thingies on the soft drink cups you get from McDonald's or Hungry Jacks
6. When you get into the driveway, your favourite song comes on the radio
7. When your left alone with a friend of a friend and it's silent until that friend comes back
8. When you turn the tv on: 10% to actually watch it, 90% to use it as background noise while your alone
9. You fake dead in the pool to see if anyone notices
10. You: "I'm fullllllll!" Mother: "Who wants dessert?" You: "MEEEEEEEEEEE!"
11. You fake the date on your homework so it doesn't look like you did it at the last minute
12. You sleep with all your stuffed toys so none of them get offended
13. When you go to P.E and when you sit down on the field, you start pulling grass from the ground
14.  Why you don't look out the window at night: 1% because your afraid of the dark, 99% because your afraid you might see a face looking back at you

16. When the teacher tell you to only highlight the important parts, you end up highlighting 90% of the freaking page
17. When you receive a text/email saying 'Can I ask you a question?' you start freaking out about what that question might be
18. You go onto Youtube to watch a music video then 5 hours later find yourself watching a tutorial on how to communicate with lions
19. When people say they're going to tell you something, but then say never mind and your sitting there with an angry face just thinking of ways to make them tell you
20. When you order a drink at the restaurant, you finish it before your meal arrives.

TV Series Review: Once Upon a Time

Hey my fancy, purple pixies
Today I'm going to do my first review. It is going to be on the series 'Once Upon a Time'. For those of you that have seen it... your awesome! For those that haven't, I recommend watching it. I myself only just recently started watching it so if anyone has seen further than the first season; no spoiling!

The first few episodes explain the curse that the evil queen has set on a town called Storybrook. Everyone in the town is a fairytale character and the mayor is the evil queen. Her adopted son, Henry knows all about it but the other characters don't. The curse made them all forget so only 3 people in the town actually know what's happening. Confusing, I know. If you think that's mind meddling, then you just wait for the next lot of episodes, I won't spoil who or what though. Henry's actual mother, Emma Swan comes to Storybrook (again, I won't mention how), and she and Henry work together to figure out what is happening. Throughout the series, some lives are lost as you go between the two worlds.

I'm going to stop myself there before I spoil too much.
This series is a little scary for those under 10-11, but if your a huge coward like me who thinks that a murderer is under my bed, then I recommend waiting until your at least 12. 14+ would probably be my general rating.

A short synopsis of me

Hey guys. So this blog has been up for over a year now so I thought it would be a good time to fix it up a little. So currently I am in high school and I have made a heap of new friends. Some of them are a little weirder than others //cough// Lilli //cough// but we are all awesome friends who usually spend all their time looking for either food or money to buy food with.
So being in high school, you're obviously going to come across someone crush worthy right? Well one of my friends has taken that to a whole new level and has begun to stalk people. I mean LEGIT stalk. Okay, that's enough on that topic before I say too much.
Surprisingly, my class isn't so bad. Yeah there are a bunch of weirdo guys that think they're "everything" but you get those kind of people pretty much everywhere. I have started to warm up to some other people in the class and so far, it's working out pretty well.
Okay so I'm going to stop talking now so you can go and read the posts.

Before you go, I used to call you guy my fancy purple pixies but I think it's time for that to stop now. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy these updates on my blog.
